Eligibility Criteria

(i) Must be a new international student commencing a foundation, higher education diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate (coursework) program at VU Melbourne in 2024.

(ii) English courses, VET, and Research courses are not eligible.

(iii) Must meet the entry requirements for the chosen course.

(iv) To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, students must complete 96 credit points annually and achieve the following Weighted Average Mark (WAM):

(a) 50% WAM for a 10% scholarship

(b) 70% WAM for a 20% scholarship

(c) 80% WAM for a 30% scholarship

Benefits

(i) Up to 30% off tuition fees for the first year based on academic merit.

(ii) The scholarship can be maintained or increased for the duration of the course based on academic performance.

Scholarship Deadline

The application process is automatic upon applying for an eligible course. Early application is encouraged as 30% scholarships are limited.
