University of Twente Scholarship (UTS)

Scholarship Host

The University of Twente, Netherlands, offers the University of Twente Scholarship to outstanding international students from non-EU/EER countries applying for a Master's (MSc) program.

Eligibility Criteria

(I) Must be a non-EU/EER student.

(ii) Must have received (provisional) admission to a qualifying Master's program at the University of Twente for the 2025/2026 academic year (September intake).

(iii) Must have a valid student number.

(iv) Should not be a graduate of any UT undergraduate or graduate program.

(v) Must meet the visa requirements for the Netherlands (if applicable).

(vi) Must fulfill English language proficiency requirements: IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90) with a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (or TOEFL iBT 20) in speaking.

(vii) Should not be eligible for a Dutch study loan.

(viii) Must be among the top 5-10% of their class.

Benefits

(i) Financial support ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for one academic year.

(ii) Students in a two-year Master's program may receive an additional UTS grant for the second year if they meet progress requirements (minimum average grade of 7/10 and at least 50% of European Credits by the third quartile).

(iii) Opportunity to participate in one of three honours programs: Research Honours, Design Honours, or Change Leaders.

(iv) Possibility of additional financial aid through the Kipaji Scholarship (for eligible candidates starting in September 2025).
