Scholarship Host

The scholarship is hosted by Griffith University in collaboration with the RECENTRE program, a part of the NHMRC-funded project in partnership with Mater Foundation and Mater Health Queensland. This initiative focuses on lifestyle interventions for women recovering from breast and gynecological cancer.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) To be eligible, applicants (both domestic and international) must have completed or be expected to complete a bachelor’s degree with first-class honors or a master's degree with a significant research component.

(ii) Favorable consideration will be given to those with backgrounds in allied health, nursing, public health, medicine, or accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist (ESSA).

(iii) Applicants must meet English language proficiency requirements, such as a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL scores, or equivalent.

Benefits

(i) The scholarship offers an annual stipend of $33,480 (indexed) for up to three years of full-time study.

(ii) International candidates will also receive a Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship to cover tuition fees for three years.

(iii) Scholarship recipients will be based at the Gold Coast campus and will work with an interdisciplinary research team in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Expressions of interest must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday, 11 October 2024.
