Texas Tech University (TTU)

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Must be an incoming first-year college student (dual-credit, CLEP, or AP credits do not affect eligibility).

(ii) Award is based on outstanding academic achievement, including high test scores and class rank.

(iii) Must maintain full-time enrollment in a TTU academic program.

(iv) Required to complete at least 30 credit hours per academic year (fall, spring, and summer).

(v) Must uphold a cumulative GPA as specified in the scholarship's terms and conditions.

(vi) Homeschool and non-ranking high school students will have their rank determined by TTU's Undergraduate Admissions Office based on Texas legislation.

(vii) TTU Costa Rica students are not eligible.

Benefits

(i) Provides financial assistance split evenly between the fall and spring semesters.

(ii) Non-resident recipients will qualify for in-state tuition rates.

(iii) Guaranteed for students admitted by the deadline, subject to availability after that date.

(iv) Eligible students may receive scholarship upgrades based on improved SAT/ACT scores before the deadline.

(v)Recipients may need to submit a thank-you letter and attend donor events if requested.
