Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine (ICU Specialist)

Salary

$306,000 – $398,000 per year, with additional benefits such as professional development allowances and employer-contributed superannuation.

Required Qualification

(i) Extensive experience in intensive care medicine, particularly in managing post-operative cardiac surgery patients.

(ii) Relevant medical qualifications and specialist registration.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Provide intensive care services, including participation in the ICU on-call roster.

(ii) Conduct timely assessments and treatment of critically ill or deteriorating patients.

(iii) Offer clinical leadership and guidance within the ICU department.

(iv) Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the ICU team at a 170-bed private hospital in North Queensland.
