Senior Town Planner

Job Position

Senior Town Planner at Wagga Wagga City Council, responsible for statutory planning and development assessment within the city and surrounding region.

Salary

$3,780.02 gross per fortnight

Required Qualification

(i) A tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban and Rural Planning, or a related field.

(ii) Extensive relevant experience in planning and development assessment.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Reviewing and assessing development applications, including major and complex projects.

(ii) Contributing to the development and review of planning policies and control procedures.

(iii) Analyzing and reporting on changes in NSW planning legislation, policies, and guidelines.

(iv) Conducting general statutory planning duties in line with regulations.

(v) Providing technical advice and mentoring junior staff within the planning team.
