Safety Coordinator
Salary
Up to $180,000 per annum, plus superannuation
Required Qualification
(I) At least 4 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator.
(II) Proven experience on industrial or commercial construction projects valued at $30 million or more.
(III) Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
(IV) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
(v) Commitment to working in a long-term role.
Duties and Responsibilities
(I) Overseeing safety administration and incident management.
(II) Conducting site inductions for personnel, equipment, and plant.
(III) Managing SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) for subcontractors and staff.
(IV) Performing internal site audits and inspections.
(V) Leading toolbox meetings and safety training sessions.
(VI) Conducting EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) reviews.
(VII) Establishing and maintaining risk registers.
(VIII) Managing subcontractor safety compliance.
(IX) Utilizing Hammertech and Procore for reporting and induction processes.
(X) Collaborating with Project Managers, Site Leadership, and the Safety Manager on live projects across the Gold Coast.
