Semmelweis University, Hungary – Administered by the Center of International Training Programs.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Be foreign nationals with active student status at Semmelweis University.

(ii) Be enrolled in English- or German-taught programs at the Faculty of General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or András Pető Faculty.

(iii) Have started studies in or after the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

(iv) Be citizens of eligible countries listed in the official application appendix.

(v) Have completed at least two active semesters in their program with strong academic or extracurricular achievements (sports or arts).

(vi) Not be receiving support from Stipendium Hungaricum or the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship.

(vii) Maintain active enrollment during the scholarship period.

(viii) Not have been disqualified in previous rounds due to misconduct or providing false information.

Benefits

(i) The scholarship is granted for one academic year and is paid in 12 monthly installments. The amount varies by faculty.

(ii) The grant can be renewed annually. However, recipients must maintain good standing and academic progress, or they may be required to repay the scholarship (with interest) in case of violations, withdrawal, or misconduct.
