Safety Advisor

Job Position

Safety Advisor at Brunel, Brisbane, QLD, in the Health, Safety & Environment sector of construction.

Salary

AU$160,000 to AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications

(i) Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent.

(ii) Demonstrated experience in a safety advisory role within the commercial construction sector.

(iii) Comprehensive understanding of Australian safety regulations.

(iv) Strong communication and leadership skills.

(vi) Expertise in risk assessment and creating effective safety strategies.

(vii) Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.

(viii) Dedication to fostering a positive safety culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Oversee workplace health and safety compliance for construction projects.

(ii) Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive safety measures.

(iii) Ensure adherence to Australian safety standards and regulations.

(iv) Provide leadership and guidance to promote a safe working environment.

(v) Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain safety strategies.

(vi) Monitor and review safety practices, offering recommendations for improvements.

(vii) Act as a point of contact for safety-related concerns on defense, education, aged care, and industrial projects valued at $30M-$150M+.
