Revenue and Property Officer – Logan City Council

Salary

Starting at $73,293.37 per year, plus superannuation

Required Qualification

(i) Experience in transactional accounting is advantageous

(ii) Strong attention to detail and accuracy

(iii) Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple processes

(iv) Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills

(v) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams

(vi) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

(vii) Customer service experience with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally

(viii) Must pass all required background checks

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Maintain and update computerized rating and property records

(ii) Process rates, levies, adjustments, and refunds while ensuring data accuracy

(iii) Perform internal control procedures related to rates and property information

(iv) Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding rates and property matters

(v) Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

(vi) Work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

(vii) Support senior staff and management in maintaining seamless workflow
