Eligibility Criteria

(i) Applicants must have a first university degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Building in Existing Contexts, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Landscape Planning.

(ii) The degree must be obtained by the time the scholarship-supported study program begins.

(iii) The scholarship is for Master's or postgraduate programs at state or state-recognized German universities.

(iv) The study program must include a minimum number of credit points (CP) in the area of Design/Projects, depending on the total CP of the program.

Benefits

(i) Monthly stipend of 992 euros.

(ii) Travel allowance.

(iii) One-off study allowance.

(iv) Payments for health, accident, and personal liability insurance.

(v) Possible additional benefits include rent subsidy, family allowance, disability-related subsidies, and support for climate-friendly travel.

(vi) Language preparation support, including online language courses, pre-study German language courses, and reimbursement for language proficiency tests.
