Eligibility Criteria

(i) Undergraduate applicants must be at least 18 years old and must not turn 26 before January 1, 2026.

(ii) Applicants for MPhil, MPhil/PhD, and PhD programs must be under 40 years of age by January 1, 2026.

(iii) Candidates must have applied for a full-time, on-campus program (Diploma, Degree, MPhil, or PhD) at a public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius for the 2024 academic year.

(iv) The scholarship will cover a duration that does not exceed the following:

(a) Undergraduate Diploma: Up to three years

(b) Undergraduate Degree: Up to four years

(c) MPhil: Up to two years, plus six months for thesis defense

(d) MPhil/PhD: Up to four years, plus six months for thesis defense

(e) PhD: Up to three years, plus six months for thesis defense

Benefits

(i) Covers tuition fees for the selected program.

(ii) Provides financial support for living expenses during the period of study.

(iii) Covers round-trip airfare via the most economical route, valid for travel at the start and completion of studies.

Scholarship Deadline

(i) Electronic Submission Deadline: April 23, 2025

(ii) Hard Copy Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025
