Boarding Supervisor - Female (Permanent, Full-time)

Salary

$65,172 - $70,256

Required Qualifications

(i) Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa

(ii) National Criminal History Check clearance

(iii) Working with Children Check

(iv) Availability for rostered shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Student Supervision & Safety: Ensure students’ welfare in a residential setting, fostering a secure and inclusive environment.

(ii) Activity Planning & Facilitation: Organize and lead educational and recreational activities that enhance students’ social, academic, and emotional development.

(iii) Communication & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, write reports, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff, particularly from diverse backgrounds.

(iv) Medication & Wellbeing Support: Assist in administering medications and address student welfare concerns in line with department policies.

(v) Collaboration & Engagement: Work closely with school personnel, residential staff, and families to support student growth and well-being.

(vi) Compliance & Ethical Standards: Uphold the Public Sector Code of Ethics and comply with all training and safety requirements.
