Level 2 Service Desk Engineer

Salary

$75,000 – $90,000 per year

Required Qualifications

(i) Prior experience in a Level 2 Service Desk or IT Support role, preferably within Managed Services.

(ii) Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

(iii) Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Office 365, Windows environments, and Active Directory.

(iv) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

(v) Confidence in interacting with clients in person and via phone.

(vi) A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Resolve escalated Level 2 technical issues effectively and professionally.

(ii) Provide advanced technical support for IT systems, including Microsoft and Windows platforms.

(iii) Mentor and support Level 1 technicians to enhance their skills.

(iv) Manage incidents, system events, and client requests while ensuring compliance with SLAs.

(v) Participate in a 24/7 on-call support schedule, offering flexibility.

(vii)Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the ticketing system.

(viii) Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through clear and timely communication.
