University of Amsterdam – Graduate School of Humanities
Eligibility Criteria
(i) Must hold non-EU/EEA nationality and not qualify for statutory tuition fees.
(ii) First-time degree-seeking student at the University of Amsterdam.
(iii) Submitted a complete application for a one-year, non-selective English-taught Master’s program at the Graduate School of Humanities (excludes Research and Dual Master’s).
(iv) Meet the entry requirements for the chosen Master's program, including English language proficiency.
(v) Not be a recipient of another scholarship alongside LLAMS.
(vi) Conditional acceptance or admission must be secured, with certified documents (e.g., diploma, transcripts) submitted by August 1, 2025.
(vii) Able to meet visa regulations and cover initial costs such as housing and immigration fees before arrival (around May/June).
(viii) Fully enrolled as a full-time student for the academic year 2025-2026 by August 31, 2025.
(ix) Must demonstrate the ability to finance the remainder of study and living expenses, as LLAMS does not cover all costs.
Benefits
(i) Seven scholarships available for the 2025-2026 academic year.
(ii) Each scholarship is valued at €20,000.
(iii) Provides financial support for pursuing a Master’s degree at the Graduate School of Humanities.
Scholarship Deadline
(i) Both the Master's application and LLAMS application must be submitted by January 15, 2025, 23:59 GMT+1.
(ii) Applicants must ensure that all required documents, including proof of English language proficiency, are included by this deadline.
