Salary

AUD $65,000 - $80,000 per year, plus superannuation and an incentive plan (equity).

Required Qualification

(i) A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field is required.

(ii) A Master's degree is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Conduct experiments and analyze data to support the development of advanced battery technology.

(ii) Demonstrate proficiency in general lab skills, including handling equipment and chemicals, and maintaining lab protocols.

(iii) Specialize in areas such as organic material synthesis, formulation chemistry, and analytical methods (e.g., UV-Vis, IR, NMR).

(iv) Apply electrochemical characterization techniques like cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy (preferred but not essential).

(v) Work independently on projects, troubleshooting and optimizing experiments.

(vi) Maintain detailed records of experiments and results, ensuring data is well-organized.

(vii) Collaborate with team members to discuss research findings and contribute to the project's direction.
