Job Position

Junior Estimator (Structural Steel & Metalwork)

Salary

$60,000 – $80,000 per year

Required Qualification

(i) A relevant tertiary degree in construction, quantity surveying, or a related discipline

(ii) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with numerical data

(iii) Proficiency in estimating software and construction-related tools

(iv) Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

(v) High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

(vi) Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Support senior estimators in preparing project estimates and tenders

(ii) Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and documents

(iii) Obtain and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

(iv) Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns and reports

(v) Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

(vi) Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project execution
