Eligibility Criteria

(i) Must be an international full-fee paying student.

(ii) Must begin studies in an eligible CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Newcastle.

(iii) Must not be receiving another University of Newcastle scholarship unless special approval has been granted.

(iv) Must be able to demonstrate the financial capability to meet the full tuition fees as required by the Australian Government.

Benefits

(i) Scholarship value ranges between AU$4,000 and AU$12,000 per year, depending on the recipient’s region.

(ii) Maximum scholarship value is AU$48,000 for a full-time 4-year degree.

(iii) The scholarship is applied as a tuition fee waiver, reducing the recipient's tuition fees each term based on their enrolled units at the Census date.
