Eligibility Criteria

(i) Must be an international full-fee paying student.

(ii) Must commence study in Trimester 2, 2024 or later in one of the eligible CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs:

(a) Bachelor of Nursing

(b) Bachelor of Biomedical Science

(c) Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics

(d) Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (all streams)

(e) Bachelor of Podiatry

(f) Graduate Certificate in Public Health (if packaged with a Master program)

(g) Master of Nursing

(h) Master of Public Health (including combined programs)

(iii) Must not hold any other scholarship from the University of Newcastle unless special approval is granted.

(iv) Must demonstrate the financial capability to meet the full tuition fees as required by the Australian Government.

Benefits

(i) Scholarship value ranges from AU$4,000 to AU$12,000 per year based on the recipient’s region and full-time study load (80 units).

(ii) The maximum value is AU$48,000 for a 4-year full-time degree.

(iii) The scholarship is applied as a tuition fee waiver directly to the student's university account on a pro-rata basis per course and term, subject to maintaining scholarship conditions.
