Job Position

Head Baker at Pilgrim Coffee in Hobart, Australia.

Salary

$68,000 – $80,000 per year, with the potential for an increase based on sales success and meeting Key Performance Indicator

Required Qualifications

(i) Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef.

(ii) Ability to work autonomously.

(iii) Experience in managing costings for a kitchen section.

(iv) Professional baking experience is necessary.

(v) Must have the right to work in Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Create daily sweet and lunch items for the café.

(ii) Collaborate with kitchen staff during breakfast service.

(Iii) Manage and develop a separate baking section in the kitchen, with creative freedom to enhance and evolve the menu.

(iv) Ensure high quality in all baked goods.

(v) Potential flexibility in work hours, with options for early morning or daytime shifts.
