Scholarship Host

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 program is hosted by the University of Manchester, in collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign. It is part of a broader initiative involving 71 UK universities to support international postgraduate students.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time, on-campus taught master’s program at the University of Manchester.

(ii) Candidates must be residents and citizens of one of the following countries: Bangladesh, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam.

(iii) Certain master’s programs, including MBA, MPhil, and Master’s by Research in specific fields, are excluded from eligibility.

Benefits

(i) Financial support of £10,000–£15,000, provided as a tuition fee discount.

(ii) Available for taught postgraduate (MA, MSc) programs, excluding specific research and professional degrees.

(iii) Number of scholarships varies by country, ranging from 1 to 2 scholarships per eligible nation.

Scholarship Deadline

(i) Applications open in December 2024 for offer-holders.

(ii) Both the offer to study and the scholarship application form must be submitted by 24 April 2025.

(iii) Successful applicants will be notified by 30 May 2025 and must accept their offer by 15 June 2025 to secure the scholarship.
