Eligibility Criteria

(i) Open to doctoral students enrolled at institutions in Asia, Africa, or Latin America.

(ii) Candidates must be working on their first major research article for publication.

(iii) Research focus must be in the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, or Science and Technology Studies.

(iv) Proficiency in English is required.

(v)Applicants should have completed their archival research and be ready to dedicate six months to writing.

(vii) No institutional affiliation is required at the time of application, but engagement with Max Planck’s research network is expected.
