The scholarship is hosted by the University of Bath, specifically within the Department of Computer Science. It is part of the Faculty of Science URSA PhD Project focusing on multimodal generative AI, under the supervision of Prof. Michael Yang and Dr. Mingzhi Dong.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Applicants must have or expect to obtain a First Class or good Upper Second Class UK Honours degree (or equivalent) in fields such as artificial intelligence, computer science, machine learning, applied mathematics, or a closely related discipline.

(ii) A Master's degree in a relevant subject (e.g., computer vision, computer graphics, or machine learning) is advantageous.

(iii) Non-UK applicants must meet English language requirements.

(iv) Strong programming skills and familiarity with deep learning environments (e.g., PyTorch) are essential.

(v) Self-motivation, enthusiasm for high-quality research, and prior experience in academic writing or presenting research are desirable.
