Department of Science and Technology (DOST) with Science Education Institute (SEI) in collaboration with Griffith University

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Applicants must be nominated by DOST-SEI, DOST-PCAARRD, or DOST-PCIEERD.

(ii) Candidates must meet Griffith University’s academic entry requirements, including holding a Bachelor's degree with first or second-class honours (Division A) or equivalent qualifications.

(iii) English proficiency requirements must be met for PhD admission at Griffith University.

(iv) Research focus areas include soil ecology, water management, and ecology, with other fields considered on a case-by-case basis.

Benefits

(i) Full tuition fee coverage for up to three years with a possible six-month extension.

(ii) Overseas Student Health Cover for 42 months.

(iii) Monthly living stipend of approximately AUD 3,000 for up to three years, with a possible six-month extension.

(iv) Additional support for roundtrip airfare, pre-departure expenses, relocation allowance, and book allowance.
