Clinical Nurse/Midwife

Salary

$84,870 to $107,279 pro rata

Required Qualification

(i) Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

(ii) Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

(iii) Minimum of 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse.

(iv) Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

(v)Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

(vi) Creativity, innovation, and flexibility in addressing healthcare issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Provide proficient, person-centered clinical nursing/midwifery care and case management to patients/clients.

(ii) Monitor patient/client care plans to ensure daily care outcomes are met.

(iii) Assist and support the Regional Team Manager in management, clinical, and educational activities.

(iv) Participate in clinical teaching, oversee learning experiences, and set goals for students, new staff, and less experienced staff.
