Job Position

B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) for Airbus A380 at AVCRO Pty Ltd, based in Perth Airport, Perth, WA. This is a full-time position in aerospace engineering focused on line, base, and component maintenance.

Salary

$150,000 to $170,000 per year.

Required Qualifications

(i) Proven experience in a line maintenance environment.

(ii) Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

(iii) Strong delegation abilities, ensuring task ownership and completion.

(iv) Commercial acumen, particularly in cost control and resource allocation.

(v) Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.

(vi) Proficiency in computer skills and literacy.

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Provide leadership and accountability to the Line Maintenance Manager.

(ii) Ensure comprehensive reporting for all maintenance-related activities in line operations.

(iii) Manage contractors and ensure maintenance personnel comply with AVCRO's procedures and customer expectations.

(iv) Manage customer relationships by documenting and communicating required information effectively.

(v) As a Certifying Employee, plan and ensure optimal workflow, including downtime, resource allocation, and expenditure.

(vi) Lead, guide, and mentor Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and other certifying staff.

(vii) Promote a culture of reporting, follow-up, and stakeholder engagement.
