Scholarship Host

The Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) is funded by the Australian Government and supported by Curtin University.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) To be eligible for the AAS, applicants must:

(ii) Be citizens of eligible countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or the Pacific.

(iii) Meet the specific eligibility requirements for their country, which can be found on the official website.

Benefits

(i) Full coverage of tuition fees.

(ii) Return air travel with a single economy class airfare to and from Australia.

(iii) An establishment allowance of AUD$5,000 to assist with accommodation and study materials.

(iv) Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) paid fortnightly, amounting to AUD$30,000 per year.

(v) A compulsory Introductory Academic Program (IAP) before the start of academic studies.

(vi) Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the scholarship.

(vii) Pre-course English (PCE) fees if necessary.

(viii) Supplementary Academic Support to ensure academic success.

(ix) Fieldwork support for eligible research students, including one return economy class airfare.
