Scholarship Host

The Australia Awards Scholarships are managed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of the Australian Government.

Eligibility Criteria

These scholarships are available to individuals from developing nations, with a primary focus on countries within the Indo-Pacific region. Eligible candidates must meet the academic and professional requirements necessary for admission into an undergraduate or postgraduate program at an Australian university or Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institution.

Benefits

(i) Coverage of full tuition fees.

(ii) A single return economy-class airfare to and from Australia via the shortest route.

(iii) An establishment allowance to assist with accommodation and study materials.

(iv) A regular living stipend to cover basic expenses.

(v) An Introductory Academic Program (IAP) to help scholars transition to life and studies in Australia.

(vi) Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the scholarship.

(vii) Pre-course English (PCE) training if required.

(viii) Additional academic support if necessary.

(ix) Fieldwork allowance for research-based programs, including a return economy-class flight.
