AGRTP International Full-Time Scholarship

Scholarship Host

Charles Sturt University (under the Australian Government's Research Training Program).

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Must be an international student as defined by the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

(ii) Must be either commencing or currently enrolled in a higher degree by research (HDR) program at Charles Sturt University.

(iii) Must be enrolled as a full-time candidate studying on a Charles Sturt University campus.

(iv) Not concurrently enrolled in any other program unless deemed essential for the HDR or approved under exceptional circumstances.

(v) Must not be receiving another Commonwealth-funded postgraduate research scholarship.

Benefits

(i) Annual stipend of AUD $35,000 (2024 rate), paid fortnightly.

(ii) Tuition fee exemption for up to three years for PhD candidates or two years for Research Masters candidates.

(iii) Operating funds to cover research-related costs.

(iv) Relocation allowance of up to AUD $5,000 for relocating to a Charles Sturt campus.

(v) Coverage of standard Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for three years, excluding dependents.

Scholarship Deadline

Applications for the 2025 mid-year round (Session 2) close at 5:00 PM AEDT on Friday, January 24, 2025.
