Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree with upper second-class honors or higher (first-class honors preferred) or equivalent.

Alternatively, a Graduate Diploma or Master’s degree with a significant research thesis component and/or relevant experience.

Enrolled in the 9050 PhD in Culture History and Language program at ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.

Duration: 4 years

Payments are made fortnightly

Funding for fieldwork in Indonesia (optional), software, and international travel for conferences in the second and third years of the PhD program.
