2025-26 GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders

Scholarship Host

The 2025-26 GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders are hosted by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Be nationals and residents of a country in Sub-Saharan Africa.

(ii) Plan to return to Sub-Saharan Africa after completing their MSc studies at LSHTM.

(iii) Demonstrate financial need by confirming that they cannot afford the program without this scholarship.

(iv) Meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements.

(v) Hold a first degree with at least a first or upper second-class equivalent.

(vi) Have an offer of admission for a London-based MSc program (excluding joint programs such as MSc Global Mental Health and others).

(vii) Show potential to make significant contributions to public health or health-related research in Africa.

Benefits

(i) Full tuition fees, including mandatory field trip costs.

(ii) A tax-free living allowance of £22,000.

Scholarship Deadline

Both the application to study and the scholarship application must be completed by 23:59 (GMT) on Wednesday, 5 March 2025.

Outcomes will be communicated to successful applicants by the week of 2 June 2025.
